It took some getting used to, but now I'm a pro and really think my teeth are getting cleaned far more effectively than with my hand brushing. I was brushing way too vigorously by hand and my gums were getting beat up, but now I don't have that issue. It's also beneficial to my arthritic shoulder, so another plus!
